About FNP
Painting with Purpose
First Nations Painting (FNP) is a proudly Indigenous and female-owned painting business delivering professional residential, commercial and government painting services across Melbourne and Regional Victoria.
We combine high-quality workmanship with cultural integrity, clear communication and a strong commitment to community.
Who We Are
First Nations Painting (FNP) was created by Monique, a proud Banagrang woman of the Yorta Yorta Nation and descendant of the Upai Clan from Badu Island in the Torres Strait Islands.
Born in Shepparton, Victoria, and raised between Regional Victoria and Far North Queensland, Monique brings strong community ties, leadership experience and a passion for creating meaningful pathways through trade and entrepreneurship.
With a professional background in University academic programs β including hosting the National Indigenous Business Summer School β Monique developed a deep commitment to supporting alternative success pathways. First Nations Painting was established to combine professional painting services with long-term community impact.
